Momentum is a competitive advantage.
Taking immediate action after a meeting continues momentum to generate results. And one of the easiest things you can do to continue momentum is to make room in your schedule to take action.
I do this by creating buffer time after my meetings versus scheduling them back-to-back. It gives me the chance to immediately complete small tasks or send out follow-up emails after a meeting while the subject is still top of mind.
When I don’t do this it takes longer to get back in the swing of things. Because then I have to remember the context for the task and review notes.
Set yourself up for easy wins, add margin into your calendar to continue momentum!
